Applications are invited from the citizens of India as defined under Articles 5 and 6 of the Constitution of India for filling up of 01 (One) No. existing vacancy of Court Peon in the establishment of District & Sessions Judge, Karbi Anglong, Diphu (Assam) in the Pay Scale as shown below:-
ELIGIBILITY :-
1. The candidate must be an Indian Citizen.
2. The candidate must possess the minimum educational qualification of VIII standard and those who have passed HSSLC or above shall be ineligible to apply for the said post.
3. The candidate must not be less than 18 years and more than 40 years of age as on 01.01.2023.
The upper age limit will be relaxed:- i) By 5 years for ST and SC candidates i.e. upto 45 years as per Govt. Notification No. ABP.6/2016/51, dated 02-09-2020 issued by Department of Personnel, Government of Assam. ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. upto 43 years as per Govt. Notification - No. ABP.6/2016/51, dated 02-09-2020 issued by Department of Personnel, Government of Assam.
HOW TO APPLY :-
1) Eligible candidates will have to apply in Standard Form of Application (published in the Gazette Part IX of Govt. of Assam) and same must be addressed to
“The District & Sessions Judge, Karbi Anglong, Diphu, PIN-782460.”
The last date of receipt of application is 30.06.2023 till 05:00 PM.
2) The application must be accompanied with the following:- a) Three recent coloured passport size photographs with signature on the reverse side, b) Self-attested copies of testimonials in support of his/her AGE, CASTE and EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, DRIVING LICENSE (if any) etc. c) The candidates must provide their phone number in their application form, written on the top of the Standard Form in RED INK. d) An affidavit before Notary that “I have passed class-VIII but not class XII (Higher Secondary)” is also required.
3) Candidates already in Govt. service must apply through proper channel along with “No Objection Certificate” from the proper authority.
4) The applications can be submitted through ordinary/speed/registered Post or directly in the office of the undersigned. The office will not be responsible for any postal delay.
5) Incomplete or late received applications will summarily be rejected.
6) If the candidate is found to have suppressed his/her educational qualification or given any wrong information at the time of applying for the post, his/her candidatures shall be rejected or his/her candidature will be terminated.
7) Valid Employment Exchange Registration No. may be provided.
8. SELECTION PROCEDURE : -
i) The list of eligible candidates shall be published in the official website of the district judiciary. A date for written examination to be held at Diphu shall be notified.
ii) There will be a written examination followed by viva-voce. Candidates will have to appear for written examination and viva-voce at their own cost. No TA/D.A. shall be admissible. The written examination of 50 marks shall consist of subjective and objective questions.
iii) On the basis of marks secured in written examination, selected candidates will be called to appear for viva-voce.
iv) Total marks for viva-voce shall be 15 marks. Preference shall be given in viva-voce to candidates having driving/ plumbing/electrical/cooking skills.
v) The selection will be made purely on merit basis.
vi) The appointing authority reserves the right to reject over-qualified candidates.
9. At the time of examination, the candidates must bring their photograph along with proof of Identity document.
10. If any candidate is found canvassing directly/indirectly, his/her candidature will be rejected.
# It is clarified that no individual call letters will be issued to the candidates. The list of eligible candidates and Date of Interview will be uploaded in the official website https:/ /www.karbianglongjudiciary.gov.in. and www.districts.ecourts.gov.in Candidates are advised to visit the official website regularly for updated information.
No application will be accepted after the last date and time as mentioned above. The office will not be responsible for any postal delay. The Selection Board reserves the right to cancel, modify or alter the advertisement or other terms and condition without any prior notice.
