Applications are invited for admission to the One Year Certificate Course training in the Sericultural Training Institute, Titabor, Jorhat, Assam for the Session 2022-23 commencing from 01.10.2022

Name of the course: One Year Certificate Course Training

Academic Session: 2022-2023

Seat Capacity: 30 [General: 12, EWS: 3, OBC / MOBC: 8, STP: 3, STH: 1, SC: 2, PWD: 1]

Educational Qualification: 

i) Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary (Science) Examination or its equivalent with Biology as one subject from any recognized Board, Council or University

ii) The candidates have obtain at least 45% marks in the Higher Secondary (Science) or its equivalent examination with relaxation 5% marks for SC and ST candidates.

Age Limit: The age of the candidates should not be less than 18 years and not more than 25 years till 01.01.2020. According to the government, the upper age limit has been relaxed for reserved categories as per existing Govt. norms. 

Selection Process: The candidate has to appear before the interview board when called for his own expense at the time and place fixed for that purpose. 

Monthly stipend: Selected candidates are entitled to a monthly stipend of Rs. 125 / - per month on recruitment subject to regular attendance, good conduct, and satisfactory performance.

Copies of testimonials to attach with the application form (declared by himself/ herself as certified to be true copy of the original): 

i. H.S. (Sc) or its equivalent examination pass certificate. 
ii. Mark sheet of HSLC, HS(Sc) or equivalent examination. 
iii. Birth certificate/ Age Proof certificate. 
iv. Permanent Residential Certificate. 
v. Disability Certificate (where applicable). 
vi. EWS Certificate. vii. Caste Certificate. 
viii. 4 (four) copies of recent passport size colour photograph (self attached)
