Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Department Assam Recruitment 2022:

APSC Recruitment 2022:- Assam Public Service Commission invites application from Indian Citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India for the under-mentioned posts under Assam Government in the scale of pay as indicated below and carrying usual allowances as admissible under Rules of the Govt. of Assam. 

Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Department Assam Recruitment 2022 Details: 

Name of the Post: Veterinary Officer/ Block Veterinary Officer, Class-B, Class-I (Jr. Grade) 

No. of Posts: 162 (One hundred sixty two) Nos. 

Category wise posts: UR: 83, OBC/MOBC: 35, SC: 10, STP: 16, STH: 02, EWS: 16 (PWD: 6 posts) 

Department: Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Department. 

Scale of Pay: Rs. 30,000/- to 1,10,000/- & Grade Pay Rs. 12,700/- PB- 4 

Eligibility Criteria: 

(i) The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam. 

(ii) The candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose/ Voter ID/ Employment Exchange Registration certificate as a proof of residency along with the application. (Upload necessary documents.) 

Educational Qualification: A Candidate must have a Degree in Bachelor of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science (B.V.Sc & A.H) from any recognized university. (Upload necessary documents.) 

Age: The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2022. 

The upper age limit is relaxable : 

- By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e. upto 43 years. 

- By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. upto 41 years 

- Persons with benchmark disability (PWBD) 10 years.
