Walk-In-Written Test/Interview
Tuberculosis Prevalence Survey is a time bound activity and is crucial for TB Elimination in India. It is planned to be undertaken on mission mode. NIRT has been embarking upon prevalence survey of Tuberculosis across the country expeditiously. To undertake this activity effectively and on a time-bound manner we are in search of candidates having high level of commitment and dedication to work mainly towards monitoring and intermittent field work throughout the country in various States/UTs.

1. Scientist C (Medical)/ Consultant (Medical)
Total post: 1
Educational Qualification:
Scientist C (Medical): MBBS degree recognized by MCI or equivalent degree from recognized University with four (4) years R&D/ teaching experience in the relevant subjects after MBBS degree. OR MBBS with Post graduate degree (MD/DNB/MPH/MAE) from recognized university with one (1) year R&D / teaching experience in relevant subjects from recognized institution. OR MBBS with Postgraduate diploma from recognized university with (2) years R&D/ teaching experience in relevant subject from recognized institution.
Consultant (Medical): Professionals with MBBS, MD or Ph.D. with relevant subject and published papers OR Retired Medical Officers from Govt / Govt. recognized Medical Institute.
2. Project Technical Officer (Senior Investigator)
Total post: 1
Educational Qualification: Graduate in Science/Epidemiology/Public Health from a recognized University with 5 years’ work experience in a recognized institution (or)
Master’s degree in Epidemiology/Public Health from a recognized University.
3. Project Assistant (Field Investigator)
Total post: 1
Educational Qualification: Graduate in Science from a recognized university with three years’ experience or Master’s degree in relevant subject from a recognized university.
4. Project Technician III (X-Ray Technician)
Total posts: 2
Educational Qualification: 12th pass in science subjects and must have done Radiographer/Xray Technologist course of minimum one year duration from a recognized institution.
5. Project Technician II (Laboratory Assistant)
Total post: 1
Educational Qualification: 12th pass in science subjects with any one of the following:
(i) Two years Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or (ii) One year Diploma in Med Laboratory Technology with one year laboratory experience in a recognised organization/institution or (iii) Two years laboratory experience in a government recognised organisation/institution.
*B.Sc., degree shall be treated as three years’ experience.
6. Data Entry Operator (Grade B)
Total post: 1
Educational Qualification: Intermediate or 12TH pass in science stream from a recognized board with DOEACC ”A” level from a recognized institute and/or 2 years’ experience in EDP work in Government, Autonomous, PSU or any other recognized organization A speed test of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour through speed test on computer.
7. Senior Project Assistant (UDC)
Total post: 1
Educational Qualification: 12th Pass or equivalent from a recognized board with 5 years’ experience of administrative work or Graduate in any discipline with 2 years’ experience of administration work And A typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 8000 Key Depressions per hour in English.

Date of Interview: 04.11.2019
Languages expected to be known: Hindi/Assamese/En glish/ (Other north Eastern Languages is additional advantage)
Area of working: Assam and other North Eastern States.
How to apply: The Candidates should bring 5 copies of the Bio data in the prescribed format along with all certificates/ testimonials in original for verification. Candidates who fail to bring the Original Certificates for written test / Interview will not be considered.
- Experience certificate should clearly state the nature of work during the period of employment.
- No- Objection Certificate from the current employer (for Govt./AB/PSU Servants only)
- The reporting time will be from 9.00 a.m to 10.00 a.m. and the walk in interview/written test will be from 11.00,a.m onwards.
TA/DA will not be paid to the candidates for attending the written test/ interview.
