Application in Standard Form of Application as published in the Assam Gazette Part-IX are invited from interested candidates who are bonafide citizen of India vide Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India for filling up of following vacant posts under the establishment of the Inspectorate of Electricity, Assam.

Education Qualification: 
(a) A candidate must be HSLC passed.
(b) A candidate should have Professional Driving License for LMV.

Pay: Rs.14,000- 49,000/- + GP Rs.5000/-

Age: Candidate must not be of age less than 18 years and more than 43 years as on 1st January 2019. However, the upper age limit is relaxable in case of SC, ST & other candidates as per Govt. OM No. ABP 06/2016/04. Dtd. 3rd March; 2016.

• Candidate must be Citizen of India within meaning of Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
• The period from the granting of the Driving Licenses should be a minimum of 5 (five) years at the time of applying the posts.
• Candidates, who are already employed should submit their application through proper channel.
• Candidate will have to appear for Written test/ Driving test at their own expenses if and when called for.
• The candidate qualifying in the written test shall be called for Driving skill test and original documents verification process. for every position, candidates shall be called for Driving skill test and original documents verification process in the ratio of 1:4 in order of merit as per the written test marks. The candidate will have to bring their original testimonials for verification alongwith a set of self-attached photo copies of testimonials and to be produced at the time of Driving skill test.

How to Apply: The envelope containing the application should be clearly marked as Application for the post of Driver.

The application are to be submitted with the following requisites attached thereto:

a) One self-addressed envelope of 5 Cm X 11 Cm affixing unused postal stamp of Rs.5/-.

b) Attested copies of all certificate in support of Educational Qualification, Proof of age and Caste certificate.

c) Attested copies of valid Professional Driving License for LMV.

d) 2 (two) copies of recent passport photographs signed with date by the candidate on reverse side of those.

e) Attested copy of valid Registration Certificate of Employment Exchange.
