Assam Public Service Commission invites application from Indian Citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India for the under-mentioned post under APGCL in the scale of pay as indicated below and carrying usual allowances as admissible under Rules of APGCL. 

Assam Public Service Commission has released a employment jobs notification for the recruitment of 9 DGM, AM vacancy posts under Assam Power Generation Corporation Limited (APGCL) Government of Assam. 



APGCL Recruitment 2023 For 9 Vacancy Details: 

Name of the Posts:

i. Deputy General Manager (Audit) in Assam Power Generation Corporation Limited (APGCL) 
ii. Assistant Manager (Electrical) in Assam Power Generation Corporation Limited (APGCL) 
iii. Assistant Manager (Human Resource) in Assam Power Generation Corporation Limited (APGCL) 

Total vacancy details: 

i. Deputy General Manager (Audit)= 01 Nos. [UR]
ii. Assistant Manager (Electrical)= 06 Nos, [UR-3, OBC/MOBC-3]
iii. Assistant Manager (Human Resource)= 02 Nos [UR-1, STP-1]

Scale of Pay: 

i) Deputy General Manager: Rs. 42,000 to Rs. 1,16,000 + GP- Rs. 17,400/-
ii) Assistant Manager: Rs. 37,300 to Rs 1,12,000 + GP- Rs. 14,200.00/-

Age Limit: 

i. For the Post of Deputy General Manager (Audit) : Not less than 21 (Twenty-One) years and not more than 45 (Forty-Five) years as on 0110112021. t, t ln respect of Deputy General Manager (Audit), the upper age limit is relaxed up-to 52 (Fifty Two) years for highly experienced candidates, 

ii. For the post of Assistant Manager: The candidates should not be less than 21 (Twenty-One) years of age and not more than 38 (Thirty-Eight) years of age as on 01101t2023. 

The upper age limit is relaxable: 
i. By 5 (Five) years for SC/STP/STH candidates i.e. upto 43 years, 
ii By 3(Three) years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. upto 41 years as per Govt. notification No. ABp.6/2016/9 dated Dispur the 25th April, 2018,
iii. For persons with benchmark disability (PwBD) by '10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and UR Category of candidates as per Govt. Memorandum No. ABP 180/2017/105 dated Dispur the 7th January, 2019. 
iv. For Ex-Servicemen, the maximum age shall be 50 (Fifty) years as on 0110112023 for Unreserved category, relaxable further by 3 (her by 3 (Three) years for OBC/MOBC candidates and 5 (Five) years for SC/ST candidates. 
v. ln respect of the post of Assistant Manager, the upper age limit is relaxed up to 45 (Forty-Five) years for departmental candidates. 

- The age limit of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of the Matriculation/HSLC Admit Card/Certificate issued by a recognized Central/ State Board/Council and no other document shall be accepted in lieu of the mentioned documents.

Educational Qualification: 

i) For Deputy General Manager (Audit): Must possess a degree from a recognized University and must be a Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant from a recognized Institution, He/She must possess post qualification experience in financial and accounting work of not less that 03 (Three) years and total 06 (Six) years in responsible position in Central/State Public Sector undertakings or in any large organization of repute and capable of holding independent charge of Accounts. 

ii) For the post of Assistant Manager (Electrical): Full time Bachelor of Engineering (B.E)/Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in (Electrical Engineering/Electrical & Electronics Engineering) should be from University/Institution approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICIE) and the course duration should be of minimum 4 years after HSSLC or equivalent or 3 years after completion of full time Diploma course in Engineering from any Govt./Govt. recognized/AICTE approved Polytechnic/Institutron or {2 years (Base) + 2 Years (Diploma) + 2 Years (Engineering)i course from Govt./Govt, recognized/A;CTE approved Institution.

A minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying examination of B.E/ B.Tech for the said post is required. However, in respect of SC/ST candidates, minimum 50% marks is must in the qualifying examination of Bachelor Degree. 

Whenever CGPA/OGPA/GPA or Letter Grade in the qualifying examination of MBA/PGDM courses is awarded, equivalent percentage of marks should be indicated by the candidates in the online application form as per norms adopted by the University/Institute. The candidate will have to submit a copy of these norms with respect to his/her University/Institute at the time filling up of online application form. Where no norms have been specified, the CGPA/OGPA/GPA will be multiplied by a factor 10 and the sum wi1 be subtracted by 5. 

iii) For the post of Assistant Manager (Human Resource): 02 (Two) years full time degree of Master in Business Administration (MBA/Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) with specialization in (Human Resource Management/Personnel Management/ Industrial Relations) from any Indian University/ Institution approved by AICTE/UGC) .

A minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying in the examination of MBA/PGDM for the said post is required. However, in respect of SC & ST candidates, minimum 55% marks is must in the qualifying examination of MBA/PGDM Degree .

Eligibility Criteria: 

i. The candidate must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India and must be a permanent resident of Assam. ii. The candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose/Voter ID/Employment Exchange Registration Certificate as proof of residency with the application. 
- (State Govt. Employees of Assam need not submit any documents regarding domicile proof, however, They will have to submit No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective employer.).

Application Fees: Under the Digital India initiative by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of lndia, APSC has decided to launch its online Recruitment portal with the help of CSC-SPV, a MeitY approved organization, which will charge a processing fee of Rs. 40,00/- + 18% tax = Rs.47, 2Ol- from each candidate. The Application Fee is as per Govt' Notification No. F8G,3212016/B-A dated Dispur the 28tn october,20.16 communicated vide letter No ABP 60/2014111datecl 2no February 2018 and Govt Memorandum No. ABP 1l0l2o17lios dated Dispur the 7tn January, 2019, for persons with benchmark disabilities (PwBD) candidates
