Educational Qualification:
# Minimum educational qualification for the post is VIII passed.
# Candidates having qualification of HS or above are ineligible for the post.

Local Language Proficiency: The candidate should have the knowledge of Official Language of the State of Assam (Assamese).

Employment Exchange Certificate: The candidate must possess Employment Exchange Registration number for the State of Assam.

Age Limit: The candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years of age as on 01.01.2023. Age relaxation shall be as per Govt. norms for reserved categories.

SELECTION PROCESS:

Stage 1: Common written Test (objective Questions with Multiple Choices) of 1 (One) hour duration of 50 (Fifty) marks. ✓ General English, General Knowledge and General Aptitude. 

Stage 2: Candidates in the ratio of 1:3 from the rank-wise mark sheet of the written test (3 times the total posts) will be called for the Interview/viva-voce (20 marks). On the basis of the grand total marks obtained by the candidates in the Written Test and viva-voce, the final selection will be made. 

Note: In case of candidates obtaining the same grand total marks, the candidate who obtains more mark in the written Test will be given preference. Where marks obtained by such candidates in the written test are also same, then the candidate who is senior in age will be given preference. The Selection Committee reserves the right to fix cut off mark, if any, for the written test. There shall be no negative marking.

 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS: 

i. The admission of candidates at all stages of the selection process will be purely provisional at any time before or after the selection process. If it is found that a candidate does not fulfil any of the eligibility conditions, his/her candidature shall stand cancelled without any prior notice. 

ii. The Selection Committee shall not be responsible for any postal delay in delivering the applications and ‘those applications will be summarily rejected without any notice. 

iii. Calling of candidate to participate in the selection process or issuance of admit card/call letter etc. does not necessarily mean acceptance of candidature of any candidate which shall be further scrutinized at every stage and the selection /appointing authority reserves the right to reject the candidature of any candidate at any time. 

iv. The list of the eligible candidates and list of rejected candidates will be uploaded in the official website of Golaghat District Judiciary (golaghatjudiciary.gov.in). 

v. The date, time and venue of written test/interview/viva-voce for the eligible candidates will be intimated through the official website of Golaghat District Judiciary (golaghatjudiciary.gov.in) and candidates shall have to download the same from the website. No individual call letter will be issued to eligible candidates. 

vi. Valid Employment Exchange registration Number is mandatory for those who are not in service. The candidates shall have to mention the Employment Exchange Registration number and date in the application form. 

vii. Any information submitted by a candidate in his/her application shall bind the candidate personally and if found to be false shall be liable for criminal prosecution apart from civil liability. 

viii. The candidate shall be responsible for any mistake made by him/her in the application form and the selection/appointing authority shall not be responsible or liable in anyway. 

ix. The appointment and conditions of service of the selected candidates shall be governed by the relevant Service Rules. 

x. Canvassing by any means will immediately lead to rejection of candidature. 

xi. No TA/DA etc. shall be paid to the candidates. 

xii. All other matters which are not specifically mentioned in this advertisement shall be as decided by the selecting/appointing authority.
