In pursuant to the Govt. Letter No. HMA.199/2019/Pt/70 Dated. 14.11.2022, APHQ Letter No.S-VI/ Misc./ CCTNS/ 2020-21/220 Dated. 16.11.2022 &, CID Letter No.E/VII/172-21/CID/ 3118 Dated Guwahati, the 23rd November, 2022 interested eligible candidates from the jurisdiction of Bongaigaon district are hereby invited to submit application for the post of “Data Entry Operator (DEO)” under CCTNS/ICJS project of Assam Police.
1) The candidates should submit his/her Bio-data in Standard Form of Application published in the Assam Gazette Part-IX along with self attested certificates/ documents relating to qualification, experience, age, identity proof (Aadhaar Card/Voter ID/Driving License etc.) with two (02) passport size colour photographs with the application.
2) Offline applications will be received w.e.f. 1st December, 2022 at the Office of the Superintendent of Police, Bongaigaon, Assam. The last date for receipt of applications will be 15th December, 2022.
3) There will be no application fee.
4) The candidates for the above mentioned post will be selected on the basis of written test which may be online or offline containing Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). The questions for the test shall be on basic Computer Skills/Aptitude and General Knowledge (GK), total 60 Marks. On qualifying of the written examination there will be one typing skill test of 30 marks followed by personal interview of 10 marks.
5) The selected candidates will be initially engaged for 1 (one) year. The performance appraisal of the DEO will be reviewed time-to-time.
6) Age limit as on 01.01.2022 should not be less than 18 years and should not be more than 40 years.
7) Preference will be given to local candidates.
8) No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the interview.
10) Canvassing in any form shall be treated as disqualification.
11) Declaration of final result on or before 30th December, 2022.
12) Selected candidates have to submit one medical certificate from Govt. registered Medical Officer declaring the candidate to be physically & mentally fit.
13) If any candidate is found to approach anyone for his/her selection or engaged in foul play. in favour of selection and submit duplicate/ counterfeit document(s), they would not be considered for selection and a criminal case shall be registered against such candidate(s).
14) Selected candidates shall have to make their own arrangements for lodging at their place of posting. Selection as Data Entry Operator (DEO) doesn’t confer any right on the candidate for demanding/asking for any Government accommodation.
15) The guidelines for recruitment of an additional 20% DEO’s in reserve may be also followed.
