Social Welfare Department, Assam, Cachar district has released a official job advertisement for the recruitment of various vacancy posts Anganwadi Worker, Helper Vacancy in Cachar District. Interested candidates willing to offer voluntary services may submit application in the prescribed Application form specified by the Department supported by relevant document subject to fulfilment of the conditions as mentioned below. In pursuance of the Directorate letter No. DSW(ICDS)G/110/2017/Pt/73, Dated, Guwahati the 1st April,2022 application are hereby invited from the female candidates to offer voluntary services as Anganwadi Worker, Anganwadi Worker of Mini Anganwadi Centre and Anganwadi Helper under Social Welfare Department in the following 13 nos. of existing vacancies under Rajabazar ICDS Project, Cachar. 

How to apply: 
- The prescribed application form will be available in the office of the Child Development Project Officer, Rajabazar ICDS Project, Cachar up to 1st July/2022 in all working days in between 11:00 AM to 3:00 P.M. 
- The filled up application will be received in the office of the Child Development Project Officer, Rajabazar ICDS Project, Cachar in all working days in between 11:00 AM to 3:00 P.M. 
- The last date of received of application is 1st July 2022. No application will be received after the stipulated date and time.

In Pursuance of the Director’s Letter Vide No. DSW(ICDS)G/110/2017/Pt-/73 Dated 1st April 2022, applications are hereby invited from the female candidates to offer voluntary services as Anganwadi Worker, and Anganwadi Helper under Social Welfare Department in the following 12 nos. of existing vacancies under Udharbond ICDS Project, Cachar. 

How to apply:
- The prescribed application form will be available in the office of the Child Development Project Officer, Udharbond ICDS Project, Cachar up to 1st July, 2022 in all working days in between 11:00 AM to 3:00 P.M.

In pursuance of the Director’s letter No.DSW(lCDS)G/110/2017/Pt/73 Dated Guwahati the 1st April,2022, application are hereby invited from the female candidates to offer voluntary Services as Anganwadi Worker, Anganwadi Worker of Mini Anganwadi Centre and Anganwadi Helper under Social Welfare Department in the following 9 nos. of existing vacancies under Kalain ICDS Project, Cachar. 

How to apply:
- The prescribed application form will be available in the office of the Child Development Project Officer, Kalain ICDS Project, Cachar up to 01.07.2022 in all working days in between 11:00 AM to 3:00 P.M.

In pursuance of the Director’s letter No.DSW(lCDS)G/110/2017/Pt/73 Dated Guwahati, the 1st April, 2022, application are hereby invited from the female candidates to offer voluntary Services as Anganwadi Helper under Social Welfare Department in the following 02 (Two) Nos. of existing vacancies under Binnakandi ICDS Project, Cachar. Interested candidates willing to offer voluntary services may submit applications in the prescribed Application form specified by the department supported by relevant document subject to fulfillment of the conditions as mentioned below. The Application form is also uploaded in Cachar district website.


How to apply: 
(i) The prescribed application form will be available in the office of the Child Development Project Officer, Binnakandi ICDS Project, Cachar up to 29th June, 2022 in all working days in between 11:00 AM to 3:00 P.M. 
(ii) The filled up application will be received in the office of the Child Development Project Officer, Binnakandi ICDS Project, Cachar in all working days in between 11:00 AM to 3:00 P.M. 
- The last date of received of application is 30th June, 2022. No application will be received after the stipulated date and time. 

Other Eligibility Criteria: 

(i) The candidate who apply for the post of Anganwadi Worker/ Anganwadi Helper / Anganwadi Workers of Mini Anganwadi Centre shall be a local women residing in the concerned Anganwadi Centre survey area where Anganwadi Centre is located. 
(ii) Age of the candidate shall be 18 to 44 years as on 1st January’2022. 
(iii) The candidates for the post of Anganwadi Workers/Anganwadi Workers of Mini Anganwadi Centre should have the qualification of HS passed from the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board /Council by the Govt. of Assam. In case, there is no such qualified candidate, educational qualification may be relaxed up to HSLC/AHM examination passed from the “Board of Secondary Assam (SEBA)” or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board by the Govt. of Assam. 
(iv) The candidate for the post of Anganwadi Helper should have the qualification of HSLC/AHM examination passed from the Board of Secondary Education Assam (SEBA). In case, there is no such qualified candidate then the educational qualification may be relaxed up to Class-IX pass in such case. The educational qualification certificate issued by the School authority must be countersigned by the concerned Inspector of Schools. 
• The matter of a High Court case i.e. WP(C)no. 3409/2015, the Board of Secondary Education Assam (SEBA), vide letter no. SEBA/AB/GOVT/1/2005/349, Dated 08.07.2015 has clarified that the certificate of BPP awarded by the K.K. Handique Open University cannot be regarded as equivalent to HSLC/AHM Examination conducted by the SEBA. Therefore, if any candidate submit the certificate of BPP awarded by the KK Handique Open University then such candidature will be rejected by the authority. 
(v) The resident proof in respect of the candidate for the post of Anganwadi Worker/ Anganwadi Helper and Anganwadi Worker of Mini Angnawadi Centre applied for will be issued by the Gaon Bura/Ward Member of the concerned Gaon Panchayat/President of the Gaon Panchayat for Rural area and Ward Commissioner/Chairperson of Municipal Board/ Committee for Urban area. 
(vi) Selection will be based on Merit of Marks of HSSLC/HSLC/HMLC examination respectively. 
(vii) Age for retirement will be on reaching 60 years and their services will be discontinued with immediate effect. 
(viii) Candidate is to submit Medical Certificate from a recognized Govt. doctor in respect of physical and mental health of the candidate. 

Rejection of candidature on the following ground is allowed: 
1. Candidate having unsound mind. 
2. Possess poor health and suffer from serious diseases. 
3. Involved in criminal cases. 
4. Regular students of School/College. 
5. The candidature of applicant migrating out of the Anganwadi Centre survey area any time between submission of application and just before engagement as AWW/AWH stands automatically cancelled and the appointing authority has to ensure the even if the fact brought before the subsequent to formal engagement. Such candidates would be declared as void-ab-initio. 

2. Selection procedure: 
a) For the Anganwadi Centre/Mini Anganwadi Centres located in the village/locality having more than 40% of the SC, ST or Tea Tribe population the selection of Anganwadi Worker/Anganwadi Helper/Anganwadi Worker in Mini Anganwadi Centre shall be made from amongst the said majority community. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/Tea Tribes communities should submit a certificate issued by the concerned competent authority. 
b) As per Govt. Notification No. SWD/449/2007/29 Dtd. 12.09.2007, 3% post shall be reserved for differently abled candidates. Photocopy of the Disability certificate issued by the competent authority should be attached along with the application form and the original disable certificate to be produced to the selection committee at the time of interview personality test. 
c) Married women should be selected from the local village where the Anganwadi Centre is established and living with her husband. But it may be relaxed in case of divorced women and widow. 

3. The candidates should submit self attested photo copy of the certificates/testimonials along with a passport size photograph attached with the form. The candidates must produce the original certificates/testimonials etc. at the time of interview/ personality test. 

4. Rejection of Application: 
i) The incomplete application will be rejected. 
ii) The application of candidates if received outside the catchment area i.e. survey area of the concerned Anganwadi Centre will be rejected. 

5. The list of shortlisted candidates shall be hanged in the notice board of the office of Child Development Project Officer, ICDS Project, Cachar. It shall be the responsibility of the candidates to check the list in the Notice Board of the office of the Child Development Project Officer and appear for the selection test at the scheduled date and time as mentioned accordingly. No separate call latter to the candidate will be issued.
