Deputy Commissioner, DC Office Jorhat has released a online applications job notification for the recruitment of 8 Junior Assistant vacancy posts. Name of Post: Junior Assistant

Total posts: 8 [UR-1, OBC/MOBC-2, SC-3, STH-1, EWS-1]

Age: 18 to 40 years age as on 01.01.2020. The upper age limit is relaxable for candidates belonging to SC/ST candidates upto 45 years, OBC/MOBC candidates 43 years, Ex-servicemen 42 years & PwD candidates 50 years.

Pay Scale: Rs.14000-60500/- + GP- Rs.6200/- 

Educational Qualification:
(i) Graduate in any discipline. (Arts, Science, Commerce)
(ii) 6 (six) months Diploma/Certificate in Computer proficiency from a recognized institute and have proficiency on basic computer application like MS windows, Linux, Mac Excel, PowerPoint, DTP (English/ Assamese) and internet processing etc. 

Selection Process: The selection process of DC Office Jorhat Recruitment 2020 consists of two phases .

Phase-I: The candidates whose applications are accepted will be required to appear in an objective type written test to be held on a date to be notified later on. The syllabus of the objective type written test will be as follows:-

(i) General English (75 marks), General Knowledge (50 marks) and Quantitative Aptitude 925 marks): 150 marks
(ii) Knowledge of Computer (Theory): 50 marks
(iii) Language skill Test in Assamese/ Alternative English: 50 marks

Total marks: 250 

Phase-II: After the written test, the shortlisted candidates will have to appear in a Computer (Practical) Test (50 marks) and schedule will be intimated accordingly.

After the computer proficiency test candidates will have to bring all the original testimonials i.e. age proof certificate, caste certificate, Educational Qualification Certificate, Computer proficiency Certificate, Mark sheets for document verification when called for.

DC Office Jorhat Admit Card 2020:

Admit Card/call letters for Written Test and Computer Proficiency Test will be sent/intimated to eligible candidates through e-mail/SMS and also will be notified through the website https://niyukti.assam.gov.in/jorhat/. The candidates can download their admit cards from the website. https://niyukti.assam.gov.in/jorhat/.
