Jorhat Medical College & Hospital (JMCH) has invited a  recruitment notification of 5 Research Scientist, Laboratory Technician & Data Entry Operator vacancy posts for Department of Health Research (DHR) funded Multidisciplinary Research Unit (MRU).

Vacancy Details Jorhat Medical College 5 Posts: 

1. Research Scientist- II
Total post: 1 

Essential Qualification: Ph.D in virology/ microbiology/ Molecular biology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Life Science or MD/ MVSC/ in virology/ Microbiology with three years experience.
Desirable: Minimum one-year hands-on experience of RNA/ DNA isolation, Real-Time PCR handling with viral Specimen.

Pay: Rs. 58,900/- PM
Age: Maximum 40 years on the date of Interview. 

2. Research Scientist-I

Total post: 1

Essential Qualification: M.Sc/ MVSC in Biochemistry/ Molecular Biology/ Microbilogy/ MSc. Biotechnology/ Life Science
Desirable: Ph.D. degree, Hands-on experience of RNA/ DNA isolation, Real-Time PCR and ELISA Technique.

Pay: Maximum 37 years on the date of Interview.
Age: Rs. 48,469/-

3. Laboratory Technician

Total posts: 2

Essential Qualification: 12th Passed in Science Stream from recognized Board with DMLT. Minimum of two years of hands-on experience in Central Govt. Projects in a Government or Govt. recognized Institute.
Desirable: Hands-on experience on molecular and ELISA, HPLC technique.

Pay: Rs. 18,360/- PM
Age: Maximum 37 years on the date of Interview.

4. Data Entry Operator (Grade ‘A’)
Total post: 1

Essential Qualification: 12th Pass from a recognized board. A Speed test not less than 250 keys depression per minute through speed test on computer.
Desirable: Diploma in computer application from Govt. registered/ recognized Institute. Experience in the electronic data processing.

Pay: Rs. 16,179/-
Age: Maximum 37 years on the date of Interview.
