Online applications are invited by, Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE), Assam for recruitment of Assistant Teacher 9635 posts in Lower Primary & Upper Primary Schools in Assam. DEE Assam had published Advertisement A and Advertisement B for recruitment of 5515 Nos. of regular vacant post of teachers in LP School and 4120 Nos. of regular vacant post of teachers in UP School vide No. EAA/SIU/125/2018/22 Dated 11.03.2018 and EAA/SIU/125/2018/31 Dated 11.03.2018 and subsequent Addendum 1 & 2 published vide No. EAA/SIU.125/2018/133 Dated 29.10.2018 and No.EAA/SIU/125/2018/177 and Corrigendum-1 published vide No.EAA/SIU/125/2018/18 Dated 10.01.2019

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates who have passed the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET).

Age Limit: The minimum age for applying is 18 years and the upper age limit is 38 years for general, 41 years for OBC/MOBC and 43 years for SC/STP/STH & Persons with Disabilities (PwD) as on 01.01.2020.

Application Fee: Rs.200/- (For SC/STP/STH candidates Rs.150/- & For BPL candidates Nil)



Subsequently, in compliance of the order of the Hon'ble Gauhati High Court, dated 28/03/2019 passed in WP(C) No. 2280/2018 Arup Kumar Medhi & Ors. -Vs- State of Assam & Ors.; the candidates who have passed the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) and have all other requisite qualifications as per the DEE, Assam advertisement mentioned above are hereby requested to apply online against the said 9635 Nos. (LP: 5515, UP:4120) vacant posts of regular teachers in LP and UP Schools through the Official website of DEE, Assam i.e. https:dee.assam.gov.in from the midnight of 27/01/2020 till the midnight of 11/02/2020.  

The candidates who have already applied against the aforementioned posts need not apply again. All duplicate entries will automatically be rejected.

DEE Assam Teacher Recruitment 2020 Notification: 

The final selection and appointment against the Advertisement is subject to the final outcome of the WP(C) No. 8824/2018 Mohini Mohan Gogoi & 121 Ors -Vs- State of Assam & Ors. or such similarly situated cases.
