Name of post: Technical Officer/Technical Gr.III(3)
No of posts: 2 (UR-1, OBC-1)
Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent with 55% marks OR MCA with 55% marks after 1st Class B.Sc.
Experience: Familiarity in programming languages such as R, Python, exposure to AI and machine learning. Knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, AJAX, SQL, XML etc for web based application development and database design & maintenance.
Age: 30 years as on 27.12.2019
Pay: ₹44900/- (As per 7th CPC, Level 7 in the Pay Matrix)
Mode of selection:
A. Trade Test: Based on the advertised qualification of the post.
B. Competitive Written Examination: Objective Type Multiple Choice Examination, Total Questions - 200, Total Time allotted - 3 Hours
Application Fee: Candidates are required to arrange for a crossed Demand Draft for Rs.100/ drawn on any nationalized bank and valid for at least 3 months in favour of “Director, CSIR-NEIST, Jorhat” payable at Jorhat. The last date for submitting online application and making of Demand Draft is 27.12.2019. This date will be the same for the candidates belonging to far-flung areas. The following details must be filled up on back side of Demand Draft (i) Candidate‟s Name, (ii) Candidate‟s Category, (iii) Post Code Applied. The Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH/Women/CSIR Employees/Abroad category are exempted from payment of application fee.
