Vacancy Details IBPS Bank Recruitment 2020 For 9640 Posts:  

1. Office Assistant (Multipurpose)
No of posts: 4624 

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent.

2. Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager) 
No of posts: 3800 

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent.


3. Officer Scale-II General Banking Officer (Manager) 
No of posts: 838 

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent.

Experience: Two years as an officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.

4. Officer Scale-II (Information Technology Officer) 
No of posts: 59 

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree from a recognised University in Electronics / Communication / Computer Science / Information Technology or its equivalent

Experience: One year (in the relevant field)

5. Officer Scale-II (Chartered Accountant)
No of posts: 26 

Educational Qualification: Certified Associate (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Experience: One Year as a Chartered Accountant.

6. Officer Scale-II (Law Officer)
No of posts: 26

Educational Qualification: Degree from a recognised University in Law or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

Experience: Two years as an advocate or should have worked as Law Officer in Banks or Financial Institutions for a period of not less than two years

7. Officer Scale-II (Treasury Manager) 
No of posts: 3 

Educational Qualification: Chartered Accountant or MBA in Finance from a recognized university/ institution.

Experience: One Year (in the relevant field)

8. Officer Scale-II (Marketing Officer)
No of posts: 8

Educational Qualification: MBA in Marketing from a recognized university

Experience: One Year (in the relevant field)



9. Officer Scale-II Agricultural Officer
No of posts: 100 

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Dairy/ Animal Husbandry/ Forestry/ Veterinary Science/ Agricultural Engineering/ Pisciculture from a recognized university or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

Experience: Two Years (in the relevant field)

10. Officer Scale-III (Senior Manager) 
No of posts: 156 

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent

Experience: Minimum 5 years experience as an Officer in a Bank or Financial Institutions

Age (As on 01.07.2020): 

For Officer Scale- III (Senior Manager)- Above 21 years - Below 40 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.07.1980 and later than 30.06.1999 (both dates inclusive)
For Officer Scale- II (Manager)- Above 21 years - Below 32 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.07.1988 and later than 30.06.1999 (both dates inclusive)
For Officer Scale- I (Assistant Manager)- Above 18 years - Below 30 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.07.1990 and later than 30.06.2002 (both dates inclusive)
For Office Assistant (Multipurpose)- Between 18 years and 28 years i.e. candidates should have not been born earlier than 02.07.1992 and later than 01.07.2002 (both dates inclusive)

* The maximum age limit specified above is applicable to General Category candidates and EWS category candidates only. Relaxation as per Govt. rules.

Application Fee:

Officer (Scale I, II & III) 
- Rs.175/- for SC/ST/PWBD candidates.
- Rs.850/- for all others
Office Assistant (Multipurpose) 
- Rs.175/- for SC/ST/PWBD/EXSM candidates.
- Rs.850/- for all others

Payment Mode (Online): The payment can be made by using Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/ Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.

How to apply: Interested & eligible candidates can apply online mode only at IBPS official website ibps.in from 01.07.2020 to 21.07.2020.

A candidate can apply for the Post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and can also apply for the Post of Officer. However a candidate can apply for only one post in officer’s cadre i.e. for Officer Scale-I or Scale-II or Scale-III.

Important Dates: 

On-line registration including Edit/Modification of Application & Payment of Application Fees/Intimation Charges : 26.10.2020 to 09.11.2020 

Online Examination – Preliminary Officers Scale-I : 31.12.2020 

Office Assistant (Multipurpose) : 02.01.2021/04.01.2021

Call Letter download will be made available about 10 days before exam date. 

- All those who had applied successfully during the registration window for CRP- RRB IX from 01.07.2020 to 21.07.2020 and were called for the Online Preliminary Examination during September 2020 for a particular post should NOT apply for that post.
